Mogadishu (HOL) Minister for Finance, Abdirahman Duale Beileh on Friday toured a Somali force Biometric registration centres in Mogadishu.
During his tour, the minister met with military officials and the civil service workers at the centre.
Minister Beileh commended the initiative saying the process will reignite the hopes of the soldiers fighting to stabilize the country.
Beileh said the army biometric registration process is jointly implemented by the office of PM and several others ministries, pledging his ministry will be committed to playing its role.
“The process of the registration carried out by the office of Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheire in cooperation with different other ministries. We have to serve our people jointly,” he explained.
The visit comes two weeks after Somali soldiers vacated their military bases in Lower and Middle Shabelle regions over unpaid wages.
