A Nairobi court has denied bail for the four suspects of the Westgate mall attack in Nairobi.
The
court sustained the prosecution’s objection to bail for the suspects on
grounds of security fears and possible meddling in the case.
The
suspects are accused of direct and indirect involvement in the
September 21 attack at the Westgate mall, in which 67 people were killed
and 200 others injured.
Mr Mohammed Ahmed Abdi, Mr
Liban Abdullah, Mr Adnan Ibrahim and Mr Hussein Hassan have been in
custody since October 9 when they were arrested by anti-terrorism police
in Eastleigh, Nairobi.
