Somali Prime Minister Abdiweli Mohamed Ali expressed belief that Turkey and Somalia were two important strategic partners.
Ali told AA on Saturday that Turkish-Somali relations were 500 years old.
We have many common points, and there are many things we will learn from each other, he added.
Recalling that his country suffered a big drought last year, Ali said that Turkey's support to Somalia in that period was unforgettable.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Somalia was very important in that period, said Ali.
