Mogadishu, Somalia (HOL) - Somalia’s Transitional Federal Government (TFG) troops who recently returned from Ethiopia after military training killed four people in the city of Afgoye which located 30 kilometres south of Mogadishu.The troops who arrived at Afgoye today shot dead four people at the city’s Khat mark and took away four automatic guns the victims were carrying. It is reported that the victims belonged to city’s security forces.
It is not clear yet why the TFG troops killed the four of the city’s security forces who are part of the TFG administration in the city.
After the killing, people run towards all directions of the city and panicked people sought shelter wherever they could. Latest reports, however, say that the city has returned to calm.
It is reported that TFG troops who carried out the killing were on their way to Mogadishu where there are daily armed confrontations between Ethiopian and TFG troops on side and the opposition forces on another side.
