Hamad bin Mohammed al Rashdi, Minister of Information, received in his office yesterday Abdulqadir Hussain Mohammed, Information, Post and Communications Minister of Somalia, who is currently visiting the Sultanate to attend meetings of the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO).

During the meeting, good relations between the Sultanate and Somalia
were reviewed and aspects of joint co-operation between the two sides in
the media field were discussed.
The meeting also discussed aspects of
joint co-operation between Oman News Agency (ONA) and Somali National
News Agency, as well as means of enhancing bilateral co-operation
between the two sides in fields of exchanging news, information and
reports transmitted by network of both agencies.
