JAMESTOWN (AP) — A North Dakota man convicted of murdering an 18-year-old Somali immigrant will be sentenced in November.
KQDJ reported that the sentencing hearing for 35-year-old Leron Howard has been scheduled for Nov. 14 at Southeast District Court.
A jury last week found Howard guilty of murder and criminal conspiracy in the April 2011 death of 18-year-old Abdi Ali Ahmed. Howard faces up to life in prison without parole.
Another person was sentenced to 11 years in prison for manslaughter and criminal conspiracy in the case.
