HODEIDAH (Saba) – The security forces in the province of Hodeidah have arrested 19 Somali displaced refugees including two women, local source has said. The GPC-run almotamar.net said on Monday quoted the source as saying five of the detained were shot after the car carrying them refused to stop at a checkpoint for inspection and were transferred to hospital.
On the other hand, Eritrean pirates have seized Yemeni fishing boats in the Red Sea and arrested their fishermen.
The fishermen after their release said that the Eritrean pirates took away all their property on the boats and loaded them upon one boat to come home.
Eritrean pirates are addicted to seize Yemen fishing boats and confiscate their property. However, authorities haven't take real actions to deal with such problems facing Yemeni fishermen in the international waters.
