Mogadishu (HOL) - Two civilians died and five others critically wounded when a bomb targeting an Ethiopian military convoy passing the Makka- Al- Mukarama road near hotel ambassador exploded
The dead was identified to be a young girl who was with her mother who runs tea kiosk not far from where the incident occurred while the injured person was a bystander when the explosion occurred.
No casualties were reported on the side of military convoy although fear engulfed the soldiers; government soldiers immediately visited the scene and arrested several people.
This is not the first time the Ethiopians military convoy was target and attacked with explosions causing death among the soldiers patrolling the roads.
Meanwhile, government soldiers based at Villa Baidoa have been reported to have looted cash and mobile phones from residents at area near KM 5 and it not the first time such incident have been reported in that area.
