About Bashir:
Bashir is a Toronto resident and a Canadian citizen who has been unlawfully detained by Kenyan authorities and turned over to the Ethiopian government under extraordinary rendition laws. Bashir has been without legal counsel and has had limited contact with Canadian authorities since his arrest in 2006.
