(AGI) - Rome, Nov. 15 - The process of constitution of the Somali state was the main topic discussed during today's meeting between foreign undersecretary Alfredo Mantica and the prime minister of Somalia's interim government Ali Mohamed Ghedi.

Mantica invited Ghedi to choose dialogue between his country's institutions as the best option to overcome differences and conflicts.

Ghedi thanked Italy for "the 10 million euro sent in humanitarian and emergency aid in 2005, including a 2 million euro project aimed at supporting the reconciliation process at a local level" to be carried out by Italy through the United Nations. (AGI) . 152110 NOV 05
