Those groups who fired shots each other in Mogadishu would not be free today if Somali educated people stopped turning a blind eye to crime. Somali educated people have a central responsibility in the fight against violence and crime. It is time for us to be responsible, take responsibility for our lives and begin to fight those of us who break the law. Much can we complain about and we have done so. But now it is we ourselves to adjudication, of ourselves. Now it is we who must stop this self-destructive shut one's eyes and show solidarity with those who break the law and abusing the Somalia’s ambition for openness and confirmation of diversity. We could put a stop to many small and large evil deed committed in Mogadishu where there are large ethnic networks in which very little happens without others know what it is that is going on. Shoot against civilians in Mogadishu was a direct attack against both the Islamic Shari‘a and democracy and then Somali educated people vagueness and silence is a betrayal of both the Islamic Shari ‘a and democracy itself.

That I chose to do so is no chance, for both things are closely related. It is not to argue for a more open Somali educated people and a more generous 4.5 policy of Somalia wounded by a growing alienation among the clans, and shaken by internal convulsions and group conflicts with ethnic undertones.

Willingness to become involved in to openness with all force to deal with a development that I has repeatedly warned against and which has already gone too far. I am totally convinced that this development must be stopped immediately with both Islamic and democratic society all means and with the help of all the good forces that wish to cooperate to stop the spiral of exclusion and violence that threatens the whole society. As I says, was the shoots against civilians in Mogadishu a direct attack on both of our Islamic Shari’ a and our democracy, and then all vagueness and worse than silence is a betrayal of both the Islamic Shari ‘a and democracy itself.

We are many. We have be born Somalia and we have given us a diversity that we demand respect, but then we must take a decisive responsibility for this diversity, this diverse society such as Somalia is today, to work.

So far we have not done this or done it in a very limited way. The most destructive element of the Somali educated people and re conciliation policy has been the treatment that has obstacle (something which prevents) so many clans, undermining the feeling of responsibility for one's own life, without which all other educated people. This well-meaning but oh so corruption policies have change transformed many clans to objects instead of unit in the reconciliation process. It is therefore not surprising if the most common reaction among Somali educated persons as a problem is to complain about "them" - society, the authorities, - and call it one and the other from "them".

This offer roll, we must definitely change if we really want our problems to be solved. It is time to come forward, become adults, take full responsibility for our lives, and not least, start fighting those of us break against the law or make use of tolerance to build up the country of intolerance and marginalization.

This applies primarily crime. It is obviously something the politician to fight crime, but it is not politician’s activity. If large groups, because of kinship or a misdirected feeling of "ethnic solidarity” helps the criminal to act, or stay out, and then will not the politicians’ be able to reach success in their work. Therefore, we realize that we have a central responsibility in the fight against violence and crime, and the fight will decide much of our destiny in Somalia.

How we and our children are seen and treated in our country has much to do with the image that society give majority of us. Then we can complain about the "them" is biased and discriminatory, and it is obviously wrong. But our complaint will sound hollow if we do not begin a particular struggle, together with the politicians and the rest of society to fight the criminals who have their foothold in majority group’s close areas and those originating in those cities that we come from.

"We ask ourselves, finally, how long will some members of the Somalia group resident in Somalia to continue to tolerate and protect criminals? We believe that crime, like terrorism, is an enemy of society and must be fight. Before this, there are no ifs and buts. We request our citizens to contact the politicians to inform this scourge that harm us so much. "

That is the question we all who belongs Somalia or attempt here have to ask, and it is this call that we, for our own sake, should to listen. Here and now. Those who fired shots against the civilians in Mogadishu would not be free today if we did so, if we stopped to ignore and tolerate.

Similarly, we could put a stop to many small and large evil deed committed in segregated neighborhoods where there are large ethnic networks in which very little happens without others know what it is that is going on. We must break with this devastating silence that protects those who harm us the most.

Much can we complain about and we have done so. Many have committed errors and we have a completely collapse reconciliation policy. But now it is we to adjudication, of ourselves.

Now it is we who must stop this self-destructive shut one's eyes and show solidarity with those who break the law and abusing the demand Somalia for openness and confirmation of diversity.

It is time to take responsibility for and take care of nurture our country. We should now, with a paraphrase of my famous words, loud and clear to say to all those who have life here and made Somalia their home country:

”Ask yourself not what Somalia can do for you but what you can do for Somalia”.
