Mohammed Abdullah Hassan (Sayid), best known as the Mad Mullah, (the Somali Hero and the great poet) was once asked by the British authorities in Berbera, to return a gun which was escaped with by a Somali solider who defected to the Daravish. The Brits in addition, asked him to halt his gathering of arms and the creation of the Daravish movement. The Sayid then sent a letter back and replied in a dignified yet assertive way by saying: “I have not taken your gun; I’m in my homeland, and doing my duties. But can I ask you a question; why have you travelled all that long and want to rule me in my land? I think you don’t have self-confidence, or else you would have stayed in your part of the world”.

Now, Mr. KIPKORIR, with all the stability of his country, education progression, economic growth and the vast donations it receives from donor countries, Mr. KIPKORIR cannot observe any other distinguished and forward thinking problem solving mechanism for this part of the world other than his repeated call for annihilation of Somalia.  The man as the Sayid said, lacks self-belief!

Some guys who left effortless messages here are not serious about this fellow Mr. KIPKORIR, who discharges a lethal weapon filled with aversion and chunky ambitions. He only portrays the thinking of some Kenyan so-called intellectuals who lack self-confidence and self-belief. Even though Kenya has been enjoying a degree of stability and economic prosperity while Somalia has gone through a period of mayhem and destruction, yet the man is more worried than the Somalis who still wake up to the roar of the guns and the uncertainty of the day.

In his second article “Views on Somalia annexation have been misinterpreted” he repeatedly attacked the patriotic Somalis who live and work in the Diaspora. He cannot believe the degree of intelligence and courage they have shown when it comes to the national interest of their country. He has been warned repeatedly, that Somalis with the will of Allah will never be broken and will survive jubilantly. No any other African country has ever gone through what we have gone through; nevertheless we hold our heads high, support each other and guard our nation.

It seems that you are extremely envious about those Somalis who settled other parts of the world and lawfully became dual nationals. May be you were absent minded in your academic studies, but if you were conscious, have you forgotten the legality of such a thing? May be the title you hold, the prestigious office you sit and your academic achievements do not match. Panorama investigation should be dispatched to your attainments.

I have to confess that it is completely off beam and mistaken to call Mr KIPKORIR or any other African brother a Monkey or a Nigger. If some Somalians did say this, I sincerely apologise about this foolish and unfortunate remarks. We are Africans and Blacks. Kenyans and Ethiopians are our neighbours and brothers but, we don’t accept their occupation, threat and bullying like you are exploiting now.

We are proud to be Muslims and wish it for you too so that you see the harmony and the peace within. We find gratification from our faith no matter what hardship the day brings. But it seems that you are agitated about it! We never talk about other beliefs in a bad way and reciprocally expect other people to show respect to our faith. Somalia is the bridge between Africa and the Arab world and accustoms to both traditions, so that has to be something you should be proud of. I don’t know how this can harm you anyway.

You said: “Kenya cannot make much progress as long as Somalia remains the sick man of eastern Africa” yes, I agree to a certain extent. We are sick now and need to sort ourselves out quickly.  If your intention is to how the problems of Somalia be solved in an equitable and enduring way, yes we say Mr. KIPKORIR support us with your healthy views but far from it you have another ill fated agenda which cannot be heard in this part of the world. Think twice and don’t unbolt wounds that we so long overlooked!
