No tribe is safe from the economic and environmental destruction. In the old days, Somalia was known as a country of “tribal democracy” led by few less educated but wise leaders who were truthful and loyal to their people and land. Those leaders, may God bless them, never allowed any clan dispute causing death to get out of hand. Somali clans had unwritten rules in place to solve border conflicts before it escalates. The then typical Somali people were very different from the present generation in that they were aware of the difference between good and bad. It is unfortunate that the generation that were supposed to replace the clan minded elements that used to run the affairs of the Somali people with fresh educated mind free from the disease of tribalism.

From the 1960, Independence Day, till now, many Somalis became educated to the extent that we claim to have Engineers, PHD holders, Medical doctors, Professors, Psychologists, Teachers, and Politicians. They are the ones who were born to the motherland of Somalia to move the country by being free from the cancer of tribalism. On the contrary, they seem to consider themselves to have had the knowledge for the benefit of their individual clans. Unfortunately the truth is that, over the 4 last decades, the country had produced the most merciless and shameful elements of so-called educated people. After Siad Bare, the educated people had a golden opportunity to use the knowledge they achieved from inside the country and abroad to save their motherland from such a prolonged catastrophic situation. They should have had separated themselves from the sick tribe-driven elements who participated in what we can call “annihilation of an entire population of a country”. In the eyes of the world, we have proven to be the worst people on the surface of the earth and as a result we have lost all human value. The world community spent millions of dollars during the last 15 years on the so-called peace and reconciliation conferences held in different countries. The purposes of those conferences were good, but the intention of the majority of the elements attending those conferences was nothing but merely a means of making filthy money at expenses of the lives of the entire population of Ex-country of Somalia. They are blood suckers. They are monsters who have no mercy whatsoever for their own people. Every body in the world is saying “What kind of people are they? They are people with same religion, same language, same tradition and practically same in everything.” We are being ridiculed by every walks of live. We allowed letting civil war and conflicts continue for a long time that we have nothing left. Because of such a prolonged aimless conflict, the Somali race is almost being exposed to extinction.  The land has too many enemies; the trees were cut and exported to Arabia. Our land is becoming desert. Our fish and lobsters are continued to be stolen. It is a land without an owner to protect it.

Another equally big problem is about the Somali Diaspora. Millions of Somalis fled the country and ended up in different countries in the western world. They are losing their true identity, language and tradition. They became citizens of those countries. In the near future, they will need translators among themselves since they are being born in countries of different languages and tradition. When they happen to get back to Somalia, they are expected to be loyal to those countries of which they are citizens. They will not be able to communicate with the survivors back home because they will be converted into different kind of Somalis by appearance.

I am fed up of those blood suckers who continue to betray their own people. May Allah destroy them and remove them from being burden on the remaining helpless poor Somali people.
