Peace is the only path to development.”
He assured residents of the County Government’s commitment to working with national agencies to enhance security and nurture peaceful coexistence.
On his part, Mandera County Commissioner James Chacha also urged local elders, youth, and religious leaders to take an active role in conflict prevention to enhance community cohesion.
“Peace begins with each one of us. Let us reject hatred and embrace unity because without peace, there can be no development,” said Chacha.
He further reminded the public that maintaining peace is a shared duty that starts with individuals choosing tolerance over hostility.
