Garowe (HOL) - Puntland regional state President Said Abdullahi Deni appointed 21 regional cabinet members on Wednesday night, excluding deputies and state ministers.
President Deni reinstated his interior, justice, information, and security ministers. Three of the cabinet members, Women, Relief and Disaster Management, and Youth ministries are women.
Reports indicate that some appointed ministers are unsatisfied with their positions, but it remains unclear if they will resign.
Here are the names of the ministers:
1. Minister of Health: Said Qorsheel.
2. Minister of Agriculture: Mohamed Abdiqadir.
3. Minister of Youth: Hodan Said.
4. Minister of Education: Fuad Ader.
5. Minister of Justice: Mohamed Abdiwahab.
6. Minister of Interior: Abdi Said Juha.
7. Minister of Environment: Mohamed Farole.
8. Minister of Commerce: Ahmed Shire.
9. Minister of Finance: Mohamed Farah.
10. Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources: Abdirisaaq Hagaa.
11. Minister of Ports: Shakir Guled.
12. Minister of Aviation: Abdullahi Bile.
13. Minister of Information: Mahmoud Ayid.
14. Minister of Minerals: Liban Muse Boqor.
15. Minister of Labor: Abdirahman Sheikh Ahmed.
16. Minister of Security: Ibrahim Haji Bakin.
17. Minister of Planning: Daud Bisinle.
18. Minister of Livestock: Omar Abdisamad.
19. Minister of Women: Maryan Ahmed Ali.
