Mogadishu (HOL) - Somali Police Force apprehended a father accused of murdering his 6-year-old daughter.
The police arrested Abukar Hussein Culusow in Mogadishu's Hiliwa district on Tuesday, nearly two weeks after he escaped from Dharkenley district and killed his daughter on January 14, 2023.
Reports said that Abukar Hussein killed his daughter out of jealousy of his wife, as he had injured her.
The Somali Police Force has recently increased its operations in Mogadishu's districts in pursuit of groups that commit crimes such as murder and robbery.
