Mohamed was put into contact with a woman named Faisa Ali Mohamed, who sold him a motorcycle auto-rickshaw for $2550. He received a salary of $80 for five months. Along with Faisa Ali Mohamed and other women, he transported the al-Shabab's weaponry to different locations in the capital.

According to the court, Mohamed was detained by security personnel on the outskirts of Mogadishu on December 18, 2022.

Last month, the military court in Puntland, a semi-autonomous region in Somalia, executed 13 militants who were members of the al-Shabab and Islamic State terror groups. Additionally, the court stated that five Somali soldiers were executed for killing civilians in Puntland.
