Mogadishu Mayor’s bodyguard shot dead by soldier following dispute

    Mogadishu (HOL) - A special bodyguard of the mayor of Mogadishu, Omar Mohamed Muhamud Filish, was shot dead by another government soldier in Mogadishu on Saturday.

    According to an eyewitness, Hussein Abukar Noor was killed near the port following an argument.

    The Somali Police Force Command has not yet disclosed any details about the officer's death, although sources indicate that investigations are underway.

    It is unclear whether the soldier who killed Hussein Abukar was apprehended.
