Mogadishu (HOL) - Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has announced appointments to several advisory positions in law, finance and politics on Thursday.

President Hassan Sheikh has appointed Ibrahim Eidle Suleiman, the former Chief Justice of Somalia's Supreme Court as his special legal advisor. Suleiman was Chief Justice from May 2016 to May 2018.
The president also appointed Zakaria Hassan Ali (Ghashan) as his political and parliamentary relations advisor.
Mohamud also tapped Hassan Adam Hosow appointed as his Economic Advisor.
President Mohamud has made several appointments since formally coming into office on Monday. The most significant thus far has been selecting Mahad Salad as the new intelligence director at NISA.
Mohamud has about three weeks to choose a PM for his administration, who will, in turn, select a cabinet.
