Bristol-born TV presenter and media personality Maya Jama is
living her best millionaire life in her new relationship.
The 27-year-old of Somali and Swedish heritage is known for
initially being a BBC Radio 1 DJ host from 2018 to 2020 and going on to present
TV shows including BBC One's Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer (2020), BBC Three's
Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-Up Star (2021), ITV's Walk The Line (2021), ITV's
Cannonball (2017), MTV's True Love or True Lies (2018) and Channel 4's The
Circle (2018) with Alice Levine. She also appeared regularly on ITV2's Love
Island Aftersun.
Jama started out in radio by presenting DriveWithMaya for
Rinse FM from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, she became the youngest person to
co-present the MOBO Awards on Channel 5.

Yes, Jama has a reported net worth of £1.5 million after her
series of radio and TV presenting jobs alongside brand endorsements. Jama also
has her own skincare range, MIJ Masks, which had its first release sell out
within the first 24 hours in 2020.
She also had a clothing collection with fast fashion brand
PrettyLittleThing in June 2018 and followed this with a second collection in
February 2019. The TV host is also an ambassador for Adidas and the hair care

player Ben Simmons. She was first reported to be dating the NBA star in 2021
after he had dated reality star and model Kendall Jenner.
Simmons, 25, is an Australian professional basketball player
currently playing for the Brooklyn Nets. He was drafted into the NBA in 2016
after playing college basketball for the LSU Tigers.
He has a salary of $33 million, which is around £27 million.
Simmons and Jama dated for eight months when they seemingly got engaged after
Jama was first spotted wearing a diamond ring in Simmons' hometown of
Philadelphia.

From 2015 to 2019, Jama dated British rapper Stormzy. Their
break-up was subject to cheating rumours on Stormzy's part with a fellow
musician, Jorja Smith.
However, Jama reportedly moved out of the former couple's
South West London home to focus on her career. Stormzy went on to create the
song Lessons, inspired by the breakdown of their four-year relationship.
