Federal electoral commission opposes Fahad Yassin election results

Mogadishu (HOL) The Federal Electoral Implementation Team (FEIT) has rejected the election results of HOP 086, which was won by Fahad Yasin Haji Dahir in Beledweyne on Sunday.

A statement from FEIT on Sunday for the election for Hirshabelle's Beledweyne seats did not include HOP 086.

"The Federal Electoral Implementation Team (FEIT) has not changed its decision to suspend HOP 086, so it is null and void.”

The suspension of the results of the HOP 086 seat comes after the Hirshabelle government rejected the Federal electoral commission suspension of the election for seat HOP 086 and proceeded to hold the election in direct defiance.
