Columbus, OH (HOL) - The body of the missing of Somali American Imaam Sheikh Mohamed Hassane was today found in the Northside of Columbus, OH.
Imam Sheikh Mohamed Hassan went missing from his home in Columbus Ohio on Wednesday, family and members of Somali Community have said.
After nearly 48 hours of searching, source told HOL volunteers from the community who were searching for the whereabouts of Sheikh Mohamed found his car the intersection of Joyce and 17th Avenue of the Northside of Columbus Ohio. Inside the car they found the body of the missing Imam Sheikh Mohamed Hassan with several bullets wound on his body. Volunteers called 911 and Columbus Police Crime Instigation Service are on the scene now.
Sheikh Mohamed Hassan Adam went missing on Wednesday 7pm local time and was last seen at Al Huraira Mosque. Ohio hosts the second largest population of Somalis after Minneapolis in the US.
Imam Sheikh Mohamed Hassan is businessman and well known among the Somali community in Columbus, OH. His death will be devastated to his family and Columbus Muslim Community.
