KISMAYO (HOL) - Jubaland has announced the first 14 seats to be contested in the upcoming Lower House elections.
The State Indirect Elections Team (SIET) released the 14 seats Tuesday and is expected to announce the electoral timelines soon. Jubaland was the first to elect senators on July 29 but has become one of the last to join the Lower House race.
So far, all but HirShabelle and Puntland have started the process.
The 14 seats are as follows:

Meanwhile, the Somaliland SIET has also announced five more seats to be contested in addition to the four it unveiled on Monday.
The four seats are:
