A match between South Sudan and Somalia
Mogadishu (HOL) - The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has decided that the Under 20 tournament will be played without fans due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The regional competition will pit nine nations from eastern Africa against one another for the Challenge Cup.
This years tournament will be hosted by the 2019 champions, Tanzania in the city of Arusha.
Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania, Djibouti, Burundi, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Uganda, will participate in the competition. Rwanda and Eritrea will not be participating.
Somalia has been placed in Group A along with Tanzania and Djibouti.
The games will begin on Sunday, November 22, with the final match scheduled for Wednesday, December 2, 2020, in Arusha.
