PM announces delegation to Washington

Mogadishu (HOL) - The Prime Minister has announced who will be accompanying him to Washington DC later this month for his meeting with IMF and World Bank officials.

Prime Minister Khaire is also expected to meet with U.S. officials as well.

The PM is expected to discuss Somalia's fiscal reforms and the path to debt forgiveness with the IMF and the World Bank. He previously met IMF officials in September 2017.

He last met with IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde in January 2018 on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
