MOGADISHU (HOL) - At least 14 people have been killed and several others were injured when a car bomb detornated in Somali capital, Mogadishu, official confirmed
Abdiaziz Ali Xildhibaan, the spokesman for the Ministry of Security said a car loaded with explosives went off near Wehliye Hotel.
" A car loaded with explosives exploded shortly before 5pm (local time). Explosion occurred during the rush hour," said Xildhibaan
He said most of the victims were bystanders and others who were having tea near the hotel.
"We can confirmed death of fourteen people, most of those affected were people sitting outside the hotel and pedestrians," he explained.
No group has yet claimed the responsibility of the attack though Somali government blames Al-Shabaab for the blast.
