At least two people were killed in the main commercial city of South Africa, Johannesburg, while they ransacked shops owned by foreigners in Soweto suburbs, according to the information disclosed in this regard.

Michael Sun, a member of the Mayoral Committee for Public Security in Johannesburg, said that 15 suspects were arrested on charges of murder and illegal possession of firearms.

It is estimated that thousands of Ethiopians live in South Africa, both informally and legally, linked to several small and large-scale commercial activities.
