Somalia goalkeeping coach Moses ‘Ugoboss’ Oloya remains optimistic his team will overturn the first 2-1 loss to South Sudan in the preliminary round of the CHAN 2018 qualifiers.

Oloya, who spoke to Kawowo Sports after Somalia’s loss at El Hadj Hassan Gouled Aptidon stadium in the neighboring Djibouti, believes they will overturn the tables.

We played well but conceded two goals. We need to finish the game away and we have the ability to work for a decent result away from home.

Oloya works with another Ugandan Haruna Mawa who is the head coach of the Somalia national side.

The second leg will be played in Juba on Friday 28th April 2017.

The winner on aggregate will meet CECAFA giants Uganda in the first round engagement come July 2017.
