Mogadishu (HOL) - The new regional Governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu has announced replaced key posts such as the deputy Mayor and Secretary-General.
The changes were made as part of the administrative transition that the Mayor’s office has been working on for the past two weeks.
Two women were named to senior positions within the administration.
New Appointments
Subeyda Mohamed Mukhtar has been appointed as the General Secretary of Benaadir regional administration.
Maluka Dheere Sheikh Abdulkadir is the acting Deputy Governor in charge of finances taking control of the regions treasury department.
Aden Sheikh Ali has been named the Deputy Governor inn charge of public works.
The position of the Deputy Governor in charge of social services has been assumed by Abdullahi Hajji Erig.
