Friday, February 26, 2016 (HOL)-A heavy explosion which was heard in most parts of Mogadishu went off. Preliminary reports indicate that the explosion rocked Beerta Nabadda (the Peace Garden) where residents of Mogadishu tour.
Many Somalis tour this garden on Thursdays and Fridays. This explosion came at a time when many people were at the garden.
Unconfirmed reports say there were two explosions in Mogadishu today, one at SYL Hotel which is near the first checkpoint of the state house.
