Somalia's interior minister Abdurrahman Mohamed Hussein Odawaa said on Sunday that the assembly for the region's state establishment would open on the 15th April after it was postponed last week.
He didn't give further details on the upcoming conference which would take place in Adado town.
Somali president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is expected to travel to Adado to open the conference which would bring together dozens of politicians and delegates from the international community.
The president declared Adado as the host town of the conference, ending controversies surrounding the capital and the conference's venue selection. Dhusomareb was declared as the capital of the state.
The development is a major breakthrough for the federal Somali government which is trying to adopt the federalism system that allows the formation of regional administrations in the country long polarized by the clannish ramifications.
