Mogadishu, Somalia (HOL) - President Hassan Sheik Mahmoud of Somalia is in South Africa for the inauguration ceremony of South African President Jacob Zuma who retained office for the second time.

President Hassan’s visit to South Africa comes amid increasing killings and robbery against Somali traders in that country who have been taking the brunt of anti foreign violence in the country.
It was not immediately clear whether President Hassan Sheik Mahmoud will discuss with South African leaders about the targeted assassinations against Somali nationals in that country.
The Somali president is one of world leaders who were invited to the inauguration ceremony of Jacob Zuma. Key other leaders from USA, UK, Russia, China and India are expected to attend the inauguration.
