DJIBOUTI, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Djiboutian police have intensified search for three suspected terrorists linked to the suicide attack carried out on May 24 at a hotel in the capital.Somalia-based terrorist group Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack which was the first suicide attack in Djibouti since the country's independence 37 years ago.
On Sunday evening, Djibouti's judiciary appealed to anyone who had information about the three individuals to provide information. The three individuals are aged between 25 to 35.
Seven people have already been arrested in relation to the attack, public prosecutor Maki Omar said.
The attack at the hotel left three people dead including the two suicide bombers and injured 15 others including seven French nationals, four Germans, three Spanish nationals and three Dutch nationals.
Since 2011, Djibouti has been taking part in the African Union Peacekeeping Mission in Somalia. The country in the horn of Africa also plays host to numerous foreign military bases involved in the fight against terrorism and maritime piracy.
