A police officer and two other people were arrested at dawn for erecting an illegal roadblock on Eastleigh estate.
Officers on patrol from Pangani police station noticed the illegal road block and arrested the three.
The vehicle the trio were using is being held at Pangani police station with its registration number covered.
The trio had allegedly put the road block between Kilimanjaro House and Diamond Plaza in Eastleigh on Wednesday at 1 am.
A senior officer who sought anonymity said the matter is being handled by the DCIO Kiberenge Seroney.
Deputy Inspector General of Police Grace Kaindi told the Star that her office will not condone crime.
"Let the DCIO finish the investigations. If the officer is culpable let him face the law."
It is not clear if the two other people arrested with the officer are police officers.
