Economy in focus at Arab League event

Turkey a crucial country for Arab League with its economic miracle, said Arab League Turkey Representative Ambassador Naciri.Ambassadors of Palestine, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Mauritania, Somalia, Jordan and Lebanon and high ranking diplomats of seven countries came together as part of the "Arab League in Mersin" event organized by the Association of Businessmen of Turkish-Arab Countries (TURAB) on Thursday in the southern province of Mersin.

Speaking at the event, Arab League's Turkey Representative Ambassador Mohamed al Fatah Naciri underlined that they were honored to witness an historic day between the Turks and the Arabs.

We have come to Mersin with the representatives of 17 countries in order to boost relations between Mersin and other Arab countries, Naciri pointed out.

Turkey is a crucial country for the Arab League with its economic miracle, Naciri also said.       Governor of Mersin Hasan Basri Guzeloglu, in his part, said that they were on an important and historic day.
