Security forces in Somalia's Hiran region
have arrested six suspected al-Shabaab members in a security operation,
Somalia's Shabelle Media Network reported Monday (April 22nd).
Hiran Deputy Commander for Security Mohamed Ibrahim said investigations are continuing to verify the suspects' links to al-Shabaab.
Ibrahim said security forces are committed to maintaining peace in the region and the security situation is stable for the time being.
