Teso deputy police boss, Francis Wahome arrested a Somalia national in the country illegally on Sunday. Wahome was walking in Amagoro trading centre at 10am when he saw "a suspicious-looking man on a motorcycle".
“When I tried to interrogate him I discovered he had a new Somalia passport which bore no Kenyan or Ugandan stamp,” he said.
The man could not communicate in Kiswahili or English. He was locked up at the Malaba police station. Wahome said the man is being interrogated by the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit.
