Runners gathered in Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis Saturday to help the cause in Somalia.
The Run to Unite is different than your average 5K; the running course length was determined by a paper chain with 60,000 links stretched nearly two miles long. Each link represents one person who is stepping up to help Somalia.
Organizers say the event is a great way to help the Somali community bond with each other as well as different cultures.
