A man suspected of terrorism crimes remains in custody in Helsinki. His detention was confirmed at a hearing of Helsinki District Court on Tuesday.A resident of Finland with a Somali background has been in police custody since September on suspicion of funding terrorism, terror recruitment and human trafficking offences.
Police suspect that the man is linked to al-Shabab, Somalia's most powerful militant group. The preliminary investigation is ongoing, with four people under suspicion altogether.
