Somaliland: Cabinet endorses 2012 budget

Somaliland's cabinet has endorsed the 2012 budget in a session chaired by the acting & vice-president Abdirahman Abdullahi Isma'il (Sayli'i).

Somaliland increased it's budget to 23%, compared to last year.

The endorsed budget of this year will be 639,369,240,470 SLSH.

"Somaliland's cabinet has overwhelmingly endorsed the 2012 budget". It was said in a statement from the presidential office.

Hiiraan Online reporter from Hergeisa Barkhad Ladif says the budget will then be tabled before the parliament for further debate and asking questions to the finance minister of Somaliland.

Somaliland is a break a way region of Somalia that enjoys a quite stable goverment and economy but is threatened by the latest fighting with its separatists in SSC regions.
