Jijjiga, March 15 (WIC) – The Somali State Council in its today’s 2nd regular session approved the appointments of three Deputy Chief Administrators of the state.Accordingly, the Council approved the appointments of Mohammed Deke, Dr Sultan Woli and Aden Farah as Deputy Chief Administrators of the state.
Chief Administrator of the Somali State, Abdi Mohammed Umer, on the occasion said that the new deputies were appointed with a view to ensuring the sustainability of the ongoing good governance and development endeavors in the state.
He added the appointment of the deputies would contribute a lot towards strengthening the efforts being made by the government to enhance the benefits of the pastoral community in the state.
The Council in its tomorrow session would hear half year performance report as well as approve various proclamations the five-year strategic plan of the state.
