Over the Martin Luther  King Jr. weekend, a group of 10 seniors from Sacred Heart High School in Kingston took a mission trip Lewiston, Maine. Students got a unique experience, working with Somali immigrants who have been placed in Lewiston, Maine through a government program that is working to take them out of refugee camps in Africa and bring them to America for a new start.

The program, through the Trinity Jubilee Center, gave students the chance to work in a citizenship class, set up a day camp and interact with a group of somali children. The had a chance to learn about the history of the Somali people and got to experience some aspects of their culture.

Tune in Monday morning to hear their story...
