On behalf of the Djibouti Diaspora in North America, We would like to thank all our fellow citizens in the Republic of Djibouti for the whole hearted endorsement and support they had given to President Ismail Omar Guelleh and the UMP.
We can’t forget and we would always remember their unwavering determination and resilience to stand behind President Guelleh, and the UMP, and their fellow Djiboutians to assure everyone, the entire Africa continent, and the world; that democracy, human rights, freedom for all, and our dignity as a nation comes first.
We are confident that all Djiboutians will stand proud among nations as they confirm their choice by their votes on April 8, 2011. It is only when ballots are counted and the results are declared that we will release our vigilance and share the happiness of our fellow citizens in the Republic of Djibouti to the world. Hence, we must make sure to vote and never be carried away by over confidence and jubilation.
We thank all supporters of President Ismail Omar Gulleh (IOG) and the citizens of Djibouti for the time and energy they had scarified to bring our beloved leader and our country to the doorstep of victory. We accept the results with grace.
