The purpose of the conference is to create a forum to create tools that can help Somalia develop peace building methods, democracy, good governance, rule of law, and respect for human rights which in turn can instill long term institutional change that can respond to the needs of the Somali society.
The conference brings together civics, scholars, practitioners, international organizations, politicians, journalists and businessmen and women to critically examine the above issues and will be held from June 4th until the 6th.
Hiiraan Online will be continuing coverage of this conference throughout the coming days.
