A UNITED States navy vessel has rescued 52 refugees from a boat that had been drifting for a week following engine failure in the Gulf of Aden.
Passengers on the skiff were severely dehydrated. Migrants fleeing war and poverty in Somalia and nearby countries see Yemen as a gateway to wealthier parts of the Middle East and the West.
