A Somali Civil society Organization, Cogwo has hailed the UPDF for their peace keeping mission role in their country. Last month, Uganda sent troops to Somalia to beef up the African Union peacekeeping force in the Horn of Africa nation.
Omar Mohammed Dahabo, a representative for coalition for grassroots women organization in Somalia says UPDF has been instrumental in keeping law and order.
Dahabo tells vision voice that there is need for more troops to be sent there, to enable them go through the transition period.
