Prime Minister Meles Zenawi received and held talks with Danish Prime Minister on November 21, 2008.
After his meeting with Meles, the Danish prime minister said that Ethiopia's responses have been unreserved to help mitigate conflicts in Africa.
Ethiopia's efforts particularly to help bring about peace in war-torn Somalia have been significant, he said.
The Government of Denmark, he said, sets up an African commission to be able to forge collaboration and support political, economic and social affairs in Africa, he said.
Prime Minister Meles told the Danish prime minister that Ethiopia has been doing its level best to help create durable peace and stability in the region, and by sending peacekeeping missions to Darfur and Somalia.
Meles indicated the need for the international community to respond speedily to such efforts of bringing durable peace and stability.
The two parties also discussed at length on relations between Denmark and Ethiopia in
social and economic areas.
