Senator Amy Klobuchar and Said Ali
Klobuchar said she is delighted that Ali is working on her Senate staff.
“Siad brings a tremendous wealth of experience and knowledge about the diverse communities in our state,” Klobuchar said. “As Senator, I am committed to making our government more accessible and responsive to all Minnesotans, and Siad will help me make that happen.”
As one of his first official duties, Ali recently arranged a meeting between Senator Klobuchar and former Somali President Ali Mahdi Mohamed, along with leaders of

Ali said he looks forward to meeting with community members throughout the state to discuss issues of concern, including educational opportunity, economic development, access to health care and achieving a balance between security and fairness in immigration.
