This announcement relates to Invitation for Pre-qualification for the following product ranges for delivery in Baidoa, Berbera, Bossaso, Buale, Garowe, Hargiesa, Jowhar, Merka, Mogadishu or Wajid.
Overview of product areas of interest of UNDP:
1. Office stationery (i.e. A4 printing paper, pens, markers, paper clips, staplers, staple removers, etc.);
2. Communication equipment (i.e. satellite phones, telephone sets, mobile phones, VHF hand held radios and HF radios.);
3. IT Equipment (i.e. scanners, printers, UPS, digital cameras, photocopiers, desktop computers, laptop computers, overhead projectors, plotters, etc);
4. IT accessories (i.e. flash disks, hard drives, cartridges for printers and photocopy machines, etc);
5. Office and residence furniture (i.e. conferences tables, computer tables, working tables, swivel chairs, visitor chairs, stationery cupboard, filling cabinets and shelves, book shelves, whiteboards, etc);
6. Diesel fuel and lubricants;
7. Generators and generator spare parts;
8. Vehicle spare parts, including tires and batteries;
9. Electrical items (i.e. lamps, light bulbs, wires, etc.);
10. Air conditioners and fans (split and window type);
11. Kitchen appliances (i.e. refrigerators, freezers, ovens, etc.);
12. Cleaning equipment and detergents;
13. Construction tools, equipment and materials (i.e. complete wood work machine, wood lathe machine, box and pan manual brake floor machine, electrical orbit sander machine, electric jigsaw, electric hand drill, circular sawing machine, portable air compressor station, ARC welding machine, heavy duty pedestal grinding machine, pedestal drill, machine, angle grinder, cut off machine, front shearing machine, block making press machine, white and red wood, cement, stones, sand, iron rods, sheets and bars, timber, assorted nails, hollow concrete blocks, bricks, iron bars, water storage tanks; assorted tools and construction kits, binding wires, window panels, metal windows and doors, stainless steel sinks, plastic sheets, etc);
14. General agriculture equipment and hand tools;
15. Hand and submersible pumps and spare parts including pipes;
16. Printing services;
17. Bottled drinking water;
18. Fire extinguishers;
The UNDP Somalia Office invites potential suppliers to express their interest in supplying the above mentioned products and equipment with the purpose of developing a Supplier Roster for 2009. The submission should specify the product number of interest (see above), delivery destination, UNDP reference number I FP/09-014 and must be received no later than 31 st May 2009.
The supplier must meet the following eligibility criteria and the submission shall include the following documentation:

Companies will be reviewed in accordance with the procedure set out in the UNDP Procurement Guidelines and UNDP Financial Rules and Regulations.
