Sigma. Sigma, my observations are different. Hargeeysa's airport is effectively run by Ethiopian Immigration Agents. The port of Berbera is Utilized by Ethiopia without payments of Customs and Exercise duties. Ethiopia trains and arms almost all of the Malitias in Somaliland and pays the bulk of their salaries. Ethiopia arrests and transfers to her country any one they deem to pose a threat to them. This list will continue endelessly, and I can not summarise it here. As a learned brother, you should be able the separate the benign from the obvious. I don't know whether the praise you showered on the Ethiopian run adminstration in NW Somalia is delibrate on an error.. May be you know more than I and others do, but the question that begs our answer is: can one contain the likely fallout and remifications of the separation of NW Somalia and their recognition for the rest of the country? Can one guarantee that they will not be Puntland, Hiiran Land, Banaadir Land, Bay and Bakool Land, and Juba-Land? They had no program of action, constitution, or any other platform to secede from Somalia –and that is a fact.   So does the secession issue really hold any water, can it be argued from historical perspective without resorting to clannism and name calling? If they want to go away, they can go away on their own accord just as they came in on their own accord initially. No one is forcing them into an unwanted marriage. If Puntland wants to go, they can, The Ogaden and so forh. If this will bring stability to Somali, why not give a chance, We at South suffered from these double standrads games, Somaliland and Puintland are responsible for the destruction of the Somalia, they brought Ethiopia to Mogadisho and destroyed, so that they can sucseed. We at the south can take our self proudly, and We wish them a luck.
